Dear Daughter,
One thing that will help you enormously in life is learning to listen to your heart – what many people call their inner voice or gut feeling.
Our mind and body work in incredible ways, and for reasons we don’t fully understand, women around the world often seem to have a special sensitivity to the intentions of others.
Sometimes you can feel the difference between someone looking at you out of simple curiosity and someone staring with uncomfortable or disrespectful intent – even when your back is turned. That’s your intuition speaking.
Gut feeling shows up in different ways. Let me explain with a few examples.
1. Physical intuition
There will be times when you’re out somewhere and suddenly you feel uncomfortable – something simply doesn’t feel right. You may not be able to explain it, but your body will tell you through subtle signals: a quiet sense of fear, sweaty palms, a racing heartbeat, or a heaviness in your chest.
In those moments, trust your body.
Find a safer place, call a friend, call us – just don’t ignore that feeling.
Our intuition often senses danger before our rational mind can make sense of it.
2. Mental and emotional intuition
Your inner voice doesn’t just warn you of danger – it also guides you toward your dreams.
If you believe in something deeply, if your heart aligns with it, and you truly want to pursue it, then go for it. Don’t let fear of the future, fear of consequences, or fear of what people might say hold you back.
Try wholeheartedly.
Because regrets are heavy, and I don’t want you to carry the weight of “I wish I had at least tried.”
Even if something doesn’t work out the way you hoped, you’ll still look back and be grateful for the experience. Nothing is a failure; everything teaches us something and helps us grow.
In short,
Your gut feeling is a powerful guide.
If you nurture it, it grows stronger.
If you ignore it, it slowly fades.
My wish for you is simple: don’t let that inner voice go silent.
Listen to it, trust it, and let it walk with you through life.
With love,
Mumma
