Dear beta (daughter),

Getting a human life is one of the most beautiful gifts of this universe. But what we make of it – the choices, the courage, the kindness – that part is entirely ours.

Now that you’ve turned 16, I want to start writing these letters to you. Think of them as something you can return to whenever you need clarity, comfort, guidance, or even just a quiet moment to reflect. Life is unpredictable, and I want these letters to become a little treasure chest you can open anytime – whether I am beside you or not.

Before anything else, I want you to know this: I love you more than anything in this world.

That love is unconditional, unshakeable, and it will never change. I love you simply for being you.

You may wonder – why letters and not conversations?

Because some things make more sense at different ages, different seasons of life. I don’t want to overwhelm you by saying everything at once. Letters have a gentle way of waiting patiently until the reader is ready.

My hope is that these words help you navigate life a little easier – with more strength, more grace, more joy, and maybe a little sass too.

This is the first of many letters. A quiet beginning to a lifetime of conversations.

With all my love,

Mumma

Would love to know your thoughts!
